フラメンコ史を塗り替えた舞踊家アントニオ・ガデスの芸術を受け継ぐ名門舞踊団の、マドリード王立劇場における特別公演を収録したライブ映像を上映『アントニオ・ガデス舞踊団 in シネマ』。
上映2作品概要
■『カルメン』
有名な歌劇「カルメン」の原作となったメリメの小説に着想を得て、アントニオ・ガデスとスペイン映画の巨匠カルロス・サウラが共同で作り上げた1983年の映画「カルメン」を舞台化した、スペイン舞踊史上最大のヒット作。

■『血の婚礼／フラメンコ組曲』
『血の婚礼』はスペインを代表する詩人ガルシア・ロルカの戯曲を原作として、フラメンコを芸術へと昇華させた記念碑的傑作。『フラメンコ組曲』はデュオ、群舞とフラメンコの代表的形式を揃え、フラメンコの歴史を見せる古典的な名作。
